Why we ship every MVP in 8 weeks — and what we cut to do it

We don't love the '8 weeks' promise. It's the output of a lot of smaller decisions. But it's the number founders remember, so here we are.

Why we ship every MVP in 8 weeks — and what we cut to do it

The truth is, most agencies aren't slow because of complexity. They're slow because of process bloat — three rounds of sign-off on a button color, weekly status meetings that could be a Slack message, 'discovery phases' that are really just buying time.

We cut all of that.

Here's what we actually do

One designer. One engineer. One PM. That's the pod. You talk to all three, every day. No account manager, no ticket queue.

Decisions happen in Slack. If something needs a call, we do it same-day — not booked for Thursday.

We ship to a staging URL every Friday. By week 3, you're clicking through real software. Not a Figma flow pretending to be an app.

We cut features, not corners. If something won't fit in 8 weeks, we say so upfront. Usually it's a 'nice to have' that the founder is secretly relieved to drop.

What we refuse to cut

  • Proper auth — no security theater
  • Analytics wired from day one
  • Tests on the critical paths
  • Documentation a future engineer can actually read

The trade-off nobody talks about

Shipping in 8 weeks means saying no. A lot. To that extra page. That custom animation. That 'what if we also…'

Most founders think they want everything. What they actually want is a product in front of users. Every week spent designing something clever is a week users aren't telling you what they hate.

The 8 weeks isn't magic. It's ruthless focus on the version of the product that teaches you the most.
